A Musical Revolution?

The other night I was watching Last Call With Carson Daly (strictly for the purpose of having background noise while I worked) and BAM!!!! Outta the blue I heard this wild ass musical introduction. It sounded like an NES videogame or something on LSD. Then like the sound of a mad man, I heard the piping, almost robotic, voice of Scroobius Pip spouting a satirical new list of COMMANDMENTS. My particular favorites:

Thou shalt not steal if there is direct victim.

Thou shalt not judge a book by it’s cover.
Thou shalt not judge Lethal Weapon by Danny Glover.

Thou shalt give equal worth to tragedies that occur in non-english speaking countries as to those that occur in english speaking countries.

Thou shalt remember that guns, bitches and bling were never part of the four elements and never will be.

Thou shalt not make repetitive generic music,
thou shalt not make repetitive generic music,
thou shalt not make repetitive generic music,
thou shalt not make repetitive generic music.

I realize that it's been a year since it was released, but I'm just now hearing it, and I really think that what they've brought to the table was deep and very awesome. I can't fuckin' believe it, but 've actually been starting to listen to music again lately, particularly indie-rock, house, and drum and bass, and I find that a lotta this stuff doesn't SUCK. This may be the start of a musical revolution, eh? Y'all check this fuckin' song out!

I've kinda turned a deaf ear to musical nay-sayers these days. Such as ones that say hip-hop is dead, such ones that say if you black and you listen rock you just suckin to white folks(Every body is not fuckin Ice-T ok...and Little Richard would do a drive by on yo house if he heard some body say it).

A bad song is a bad song and everybody has an individual taste for whatever. Some music is made I believe not even for the sheer listening pleasure, but for some underlaying purpose alone. Like that satan metal shit, and the guys that scream and grunt on the mic in some heavy metal records.

There's a formula for music and every genre ain't got it and every song ain't got it. Lol Like most Trance and Drum and Bass...if every damn song dont sound the fuckin same...I might be think of Rave and not Trance though.
